Buckhannon-Upshur High School’s tennis teams had mixed results against North Marion in a match held on Tuesday. The girls’ team secured a victory while the boys’ team faced a defeat.

In the girls’ competition, Buckhannon-Upshur triumphed with a score of 5-2. Notable performances included wins by singles players Sarah Jones and Emily Smith.

Conversely, the boys’ team lost 4-3, with close matches highlighting the competition. Despite the loss, team captain Jake Miller expressed pride in his teammates’ effort.
