Fairbanks Watercolor Society Hosts Spring Show at Bear Gallery

The Fairbanks Watercolor Society will open its annual Spring Show at the Bear Gallery on April 1, showcasing a variety of works by local artists. The exhibit will run through April 30, providing the community with an opportunity to appreciate watercolor art.

“This event highlights the creativity and talent of our members,” said society president Jane Doe. “We invite everyone to come and explore the vibrant works on display.”

The show features over 50 pieces from artists of varying skill levels, reflecting themes of Alaska’s natural beauty. An opening reception is scheduled for April 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., where attendees can meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.

The Bear Gallery is located in downtown Fairbanks and regularly hosts art exhibitions that support local artists. The Fairbanks Watercolor Society aims to promote the appreciation of watercolor painting in the community and provide a platform for local talent.

Founded in 1985, the Fairbanks Watercolor Society has grown to include a diverse range of artists. The Spring Show is an annual highlight, attracting art lovers and collectors from across the region.
