Florida Men’s Tennis Hosts Doubleheader, Achieves Split
The Florida men’s tennis team split its doubleheader on Saturday, facing off against two opponents at home in Gainesville. The Gators won against the University of Florida while falling to the University of North Florida.
In the first match, Florida defeated the University of Florida with a score of 5-2. Head coach Bryan Shelton praised his team’s performance, stating, “The guys showed great resilience and played with energy.”
In the afternoon match, Florida faced a tougher challenge against the University of North Florida, losing 4-3. Despite the setback, the Gators demonstrated strong individual performances.
