Blaze Breaks Out at Harbor Gateway Business, Dense Smoke Detected

A large fire erupted at a commercial property in Harbor Gateway on Wednesday, filling the area with thick black smoke. The incident occurred around 3:15 PM local time at a business located on the 1500 block of South Central Avenue.

Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded swiftly to the scene. “Firefighters are working tirelessly to contain the blaze and protect nearby structures,” an LAFD spokesperson stated.
