Fundraising Chicken Dinner Scheduled for The Menomonie Singers

The Menomonie Singers will host a chicken dinner fundraiser on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Menomonie High School cafeteria, beginning at 5 p.m. The event aims to support the local choral group, which has been a staple in the community for over 40 years.

“This dinner is a great way for the community to come together and support the arts,” said choir director Sarah Johnson.

Tickets for the dinner are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The meal will include grilled chicken, sides, and dessert. Proceeds from the event will help fund upcoming performances and music education initiatives for the group.

The Menomonie Singers was established in 1982 and has since provided a platform for local singers to showcase their talents. In addition to regular performances, the choir also participates in community outreach programs and educational workshops.

For those interested in attending, tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance from members of the choir.

With a vibrant history and a commitment to enriching the local culture, The Menomonie Singers continue to make an impact in the community through music.
