The Aquatic Masters swimming team achieved second place at the annual regional swimming competition held on Saturday in Riverside. The event featured over 200 participants from various clubs across the region, showcasing a range of individual and relay swimming events.

Coach Maria Thompson expressed pride in her team’s performance, stating, “Our swimmers demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, and we are thrilled with the outcome.” The team finished with a total of 12 medals, including six gold, four silver, and two bronze.

The Aquatic Masters started strong in the freestyle events, where several swimmers broke personal records. The relay teams also gained attention for their competitive times, contributing to the overall team score that secured their second-place finish.

Competing against established clubs, the Aquatic Masters have been training intensively in preparation for this competition. The team aims to build on this success as they set their sights on upcoming state championships scheduled for next month.

Founded in 2015, the Aquatic Masters have steadily risen in prominence within the regional swimming community, focusing on developing young talent and promoting a healthy lifestyle through competitive swimming.
