A children’s art exhibition titled ‘Peace Kids’ will take place on March 15 at the Lancaster Arts Center, showcasing and selling artwork created by young artists. The event aims to raise funds for local nonprofits dedicated to promoting peace and community well-being.

Organizers expect to feature over 100 pieces of art created by children aged 5 to 16. “This event not only highlights the creativity of our youth but also teaches them the importance of giving back,” said event coordinator Laura Miller.

Visitors can purchase the artwork, with proceeds benefiting various nonprofits in the area. The exhibition will include interactive activities for children and families, fostering a sense of community engagement.

The ‘Peace Kids’ initiative emerged in response to increasing community needs following several local challenges. It aims to empower children through artistic expression while supporting organizations that work towards peace and social justice.

Founded in 2015, the Lancaster Arts Center has hosted numerous events focused on community engagement and youth development. This year’s ‘Peace Kids’ show is expected to attract a diverse audience and strengthen community ties.
