A winter storm is projected to bring up to 10 inches of snow along with high winds to parts of the Midwest starting late Saturday, potentially disrupting highway travel. The National Weather Service issued winter storm warnings for several states, including Wisconsin and Michigan, effective through Sunday evening.

Meteorologists warn that gusts could exceed 30 mph, creating hazardous conditions due to reduced visibility and drifting snow. “Travel will be dangerous at times, especially on untreated roads,” said a spokesperson from the National Weather Service.
