Cinemark theaters will introduce a $5 “Bring Your Own Bucket” popcorn deal starting November 1, 2023, at locations across the United States. This promotion allows patrons to bring containers from home to fill with popcorn at a discounted price.

“We are excited to offer moviegoers an affordable way to enjoy their favorite snack while watching films,” said Cinemark spokesperson Sarah Johnson. The initiative aims to enhance the cinema experience while reducing costs for customers.

This promotion is part of Cinemark’s efforts to attract more audiences amidst increasing competition from streaming services. The program is expected to run through the holiday season.

Customers will be permitted to bring any size container, as long as it meets health and safety regulations. The deal is available during regular theater hours at all participating locations nationwide.
